Dewpoint Professional has announced the launch of its latest City & Guilds Accredited training programme, Moisture Meter Essentials for Building Professionals, designed to strengthen practical competence and diagnostic confidence across the construction, property, and surveying sectors.
The first course will take place in December, with additional dates scheduled throughout next year in response to growing industry demand for reliable, evidence-based moisture investigation skills.
The course provides delegates with a clear, practical understanding of moisture meter technology, correct usage techniques, common causes of erroneous readings, and how to interpret results accurately within real-world building contexts. It has been developed to support building professionals in delivering robust assessments, improving reporting quality, and aligning investigation practices with industry best-practice standards.
Graham Keeble, Lead Technical Trainer at Dewpoint commented :
“Moisture meters are one of the most widely used diagnostic tools across the sector, yet they are often misunderstood. This course equips professionals with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to carry out accurate investigations and produce clear, consistent, and defensible reports. We’re pleased to launch the programme this December and look forward to expanding availability with further dates next year.”
