This course can be done online and in your own time, On average this course takes 2 hours to complete. The length of time taken depends entirely on how individuals study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like. The system automatically records your progress so you can pause and resume the training easily!
Once you book the course you will be sent your own personal log in details to the training platform where you can begin the training at your own convenience, once complete you can print out your own certificate or wait for us to send it out to you.

This course is designed for damage management practitioners, field based insurance professionals and surveyors wishing to gain a City & Guilds Accreditation in professional water damage restoration. Those responsible for assessing, remediating and managing water damage incidents have a duty of care to others and are expected to possess a myriad of skills and in-depth knowledge in the subject. Introducing the basic principles and practices of water damage restoration (as it applies to buildings), this course provides the framework on which professionals can build upon.
Course aims This course will give you the knowledge and practical skills to provide mitigation, remediation, assessment, scoping, management and structural drying of water damaged buildings. The knowledge you acquire will also help you to identify additional issues and reduce overall risks to the project.
Course benefits Students who successfully pass the course and accompanying practical assessment and examination will be awarded the nationally recognised The Gelder Groups City & Guilds Accreditation in Professional Water Damage Restoration: Mitigation, Remediation & Structural Drying for Practitioners.
